Thank you very much for your financial assistance of $1000. I really appreciate your generosity. Your support means tremendous to me and my family in this very difficult time.

With bills piling up, your financial assistance will greatly reduce my financial burden. I know there are really great and caring people out there and it is people like you and your group that keeps me from admitting defeat. It's people like you and your group that makes the world a better place to live.

Again, thanks so much.

I am so grateful for your help. You never know how so many nice people are out there who care. I really thank you so much for your support and love. I will forever be grateful for your kindness and help. May God Bless you.

Merry Christmas

It is with a heavy heart that I am writing on behalf of my dear Mother who passed this November 5th. She fought very hard to win her battle with ovarian cancer, that was at stage 3 when it was diagnosed. She was a woman with little financial resources, but always gave everything she had to anyone in need. So, when the time came for her to be the once in need, I came across your organization and helped her apply. To her wonder and deeper gratitude, your organization approved her request.

Please accept this letter as our deepest appreciation for your support. Your donation helped immensely in her greatest time of need. Thank you so much for helping to case some of the burden that comes with this terrible disease.

Sincerely Yours,

Thank you lots & lots

OCCO, you deserve a great big thank you. We want to say Thank You from the bottom of our hearts. Your help in our time of need is greatly appreciated.

— John

Greatly Appreciated.

There are no words to express my appreciation for the $1000 check you sent to me. It has helped pay for some of my medical bills! This has been a long journey, but with God's help all will be well.

Thank you seems hardly enough for all you have done for me. You will be forever in my heart and in my prayers.

God Bless, Ruth

We would just like to say Thank You from the bottom of our hearts. Your gift will help with our travels weekly backyard forth from Florence to Green Bay. This week it was actually two trips! Many thanks.

— Dawn, Don, Emily, Zachary & Andrea

Many Thanks

There are not enough words to say thank you for the generous check you sent mom (Ruth). Pleaase know how very grateful we are. God's Blessings to you all.

Thank you so much!

There are no words to let you know how very appreciative and thankful I am for the check you sent me! It will certainly help with my medical expenses. I had surgery in June and have been getting chemo and will now have surgery again on October 10th. God is taking care of me...and your foundation is part of His team of angels watching over me!

With loving thanks.

God Bless You

I am writing to express my gratitude and appreciation for your generous support financially during this time of hardship. Thank you so very much.

—Sincerely, Joanne

The Collette's

Thank you for the generous donation to my medical bills. This truly helps in my time of need.

Thank you very much for the help paying my bill. It means the world to me. Thanks again.

Means the World

Linda and I are so very grateful for receiving your financial assistance of $1500. Ironically, just before I opened your envelope, I had opened a bill from Aurora for $1515. We felt so blessed.

As you can imagine, our focus is on Linda's health and the necessary treatment in order to cure her of this cancer. Unfortunately, the timing is not so good as it means two maximum out of pocket expenses since it encompasses two different years and insurance periods. Your gift as been a Godsend. If we would be eligible for any future assistance, we would be truly appreciative.

Again, we thank all of you involved with this Foundation and appreciate all the good that you do for cancer victims.

May God Bless you.

May God Bless You.

Dear OCCO and all those involved.

I received your letter with a check of $1500 towards my bills. What a very generous kind, wonderful gift to receive.

Having this paid for my husband and I, Is a HUGE relief and weight off of our shoulders.

We thank you, with such deep gratitude for doing this for us.

Sincerely grateful,

Sue & TIm

Thank you for the help you gave us in the past. Now that we are starting to get back on our feet, we would like to begin giving back to your organization so that more women can receive the help they need. We will try to send something on a regular basis.

Frank & Cheryl

In 2013 your organization was most helpful to my daughter as she battled cancer. The family was most grateful. Hopefully the enclosed will be of some small help to someone else in need. Your organization is a real asset in the community. Thank you again.

— Sincerely Robert

I have received your very generous gift of $1500 which I will pay my rent for September and October. This will enable me to pay my past due medical bills and buy some healthy foods. I am very grateful to you for your kindness and appreciate it from the bottom of my heart.

May the great God bless every act of kindness each one of you do.

Thank you, Azra.

Thank you!

Thank you and the Ovarian Cancer Community Outreach, Inc. so very much for helping me continue to have health insurance. Words cannot fully express how much this means to me. Thanks again.

Thank you so much for approving my rquest for financial assistance with my medical bills. This is a huge weight lifted off my shoulders. I am so grateful that OCCO could help relieve this financial stress. Sincerely.

Dear OCCO, I received the check for my bills and rent this week. Thank you so much for helping me out. Thank you for giving us warm shelter during this difficult time. God bless you, and may He continue to use you to help others that are in need! Words cannot express how thankful I am.

Words really cannot express my deep gratitude and appreciation for the help you have given me.

I was totally unaware of the aspects of Ovarian Cancer until now. I read everything I can get my hands on these days. The OCCO brochure is full of great information that I wish I had known.

For the past ten years, I was a licensed massage therapist specializing in geriatric and cancer massage. I enjoyed working with the UW Oncology department patients. They would sponsor wonderful massage retreats where women could relax and receive special attention. I loved it. But I had no idea what these dear women were going through. Now, I know. It includes blood clots, Baker's cyst, blood thinners, and next week, I learn about radiation. It is a totally different world.

I was thrilled to accept and send your generous check to MG&E. It has come at a time when I have many unexpected bills.

Yours Truly, Carol

I'm writing this to tell you all THANK YOU so much for the help and support that you have given me. I'm 55 years old and have been fighting cancer for the last 5 years. I had throat cancer twice and then in September of this year was told I have Ovarian Cancer. I have been fighting so hard and long with this cancer in my body but I'm staying very strong and positive. I refuse to give up. I've never asked for any help. I finally reached out and asked OCCO for help and you did. I can't say thank you enough. I am so blessed that you reached out for me and I just wanted to say to all of you that this is the best gift I could ever recieve if there's anything I can ever do to help you or anybody else out please let me know. Once again, thank you so much.

Please accept the following donations to OCCO in memory of Allison Lee Helgeson who died of cervical cancer on June 24, 2014. Your organization helped her with a monetary donation at a time when she was unable to work. She was extremely grateful and although we know this does not repay your generous donation to her we hope it will help in a small way to continue your great work. — Sincerely, The Family of Allison Helgeson

Sincerely Cheryl

Thank you so very much for the assistance provided to my sister, Twyla, in response to my request for financial aid. The monies were received and have been applied accordingly.

As she continues in her fight to overcome her illness, the generosity of OCCO will be viewed as one of the 'UP' periods during this journey. So that you may continue your efforts, please accept this token of appreciation to help in your organizations worthwhile mission.

Please accept our wishes and hopes for continued success of OCCO and the many families whose lives you touch.

Sincerely Toby

Dear Beth,

I received the checks today and I can't thank you and the OCCO enough for your generosity. It will certainly help my budget this month!!

Sincerely, Kathy

Beth Seymour and the Ovarian Cancer Community Outreach Center,

I can not thank you enough for the financial assistance! It brought tears to my eyes to be able to give my mom that check. It lightens my heart to be able to pay my mom back some of the expenses she has incurred for me. I am so grateful and again cannot thank you enough. May everyone in your organization have a peaceful and happy holiday season.

Sincerely, Allison

The gas cards arrived today, and thanks so much for mailing them out so soon.  I have to travel to Spring Valley on Wednesday so my daughter can drive me to Rochester early Thursday morning.  Believe me, the cards come at a very welcomed time.  I am so very appreciative for your generosity and compassion.  It’s wonderful to have support from organizations like yours.  Thank you, Beth, and please extend my thanks to all the Board members.

Sincerely, Dottie

OCCO, Inc.

Thank you and the board for your financial support. I cannot begin to express my gratitude. I have just mailed the check to the Lee Medical Plan out today. I have insurance for another month!

Dear OCCO,

Thank you very much for the giſt cards. You will never know how much it means to me. With me not be able to work right know and not having Insurance this will help a lot. I never thought I would be in this situation. I

don't know if you have heard of the Budda Box its a cancer org. and I was involved in it when my sister had cervical cancer. I seen a lot of cancer people and seen how happy they were when we helped them but I never thought it would happen to me. Aſter 6 years I thought it was time for me to let other enjoy the happiness I did when I would see people faces when we helped them. I will never forget you all and what you have done for me. I have sent you some bills like you said and any help would be great.

Thanks again and GOD BLESS YOU ALL,

Thank you all so much for helping me pay off my medical bills. This is such a load lifted! God Bless you all.

Thanks again, Lori

Dear OCCO,

I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your help. This has caused me so much anxiety. I am hoping to be back to work at least part-time starting in May and hopefully full-time in June so that I can be back on my regular insurance and off of Cobra. I thank you, my family thanks you. I hope to pay this forward one day.

With love and gratitude, Trena

Dear OCCO,

I want to thank you for your generous support. I have never heard of an organization like yours before. You are awesome! I would love to volunteer in any way possible. You have made me feel good and I would like to help make others feel good too. Please let me know if there is any way I can help.

Dear Ms. Seymour and the OCCO Board,

Thank you very much for the generous award, to help me pay my hospital bills. When I was told that I had ovarian cancer, I thought I was helpless and that I would soon die. I am almost 90 years old and my family had to convince me that chemotherapy could save my life. I thought I would die from the effects of Chemo, and even though the effects of Chemo are very hard to endure, I am still living and doing quite well. I am almost done with my treatments, and will find out soon, what my next step, will be. I live on Social Security and do not have a lot of money. I have been to many different kinds of doctors, in the last few months. My medical bills are very high but, I am getting everything I need in order to live and be comfortable. When I found out the Ovarian Cancer Community Outreach was going to give me financial assistance I was ecstatic! I thought I would be paying my medical bills until I turned 100! Instead, I should be done with my medical bills in about a year. I cannot thank you enough. You have taken a huge financial load off my shoulders.

Thank you, Thank you, and Thank you!

Sincerely, Emma S.

Dear Beth,

In this season of giving and Thanksgiving, I give thanks to OCCO. I work freelance, and since my surgery needless-to-say, my income has taken a massive hit. The concern at times was overwhelming. But thanks to OCCO’s generosity I can breathe easier paying my bills and concentrating on getting better. The Holidays are much brighter thanks to OCCO. When I get back on my feet you can be sure I will return the favor helping OCCO help women living with cancer. Thank you so very, very much.

God bless, Mary

Thank you very much for the gas cards. It was always a struggle to make sure I had enough gas to go back and forth to hospital.

Thank you, Veronica

Dear Beth,

I am so appreciative of the generous gas cards and check which I received in the mail today. It really made my day! I am scheduled for my third chemo session next Tuesday. So far, I am able to drive the two-hour trip to one of my children’s homes the day prior to my Mayo trip — this time Alma, WI. Please thank all the Board members, and a special thanks to you, Beth, for returning my phone calls so promptly and advocating for me.

Sincerely, Dottie

I received your checks for my rent, car payment and the gift card to Festival Food. I’m so grateful and thank you so much. I will keep your community outreach forever in my prayers. Your special ways and generous heart make a beautiful difference. Thank you so much. So blessed to receive your gifts. Thank you again so much. It means so much.

God bless, Ann

Dear Members of OCCO,

I cannot thank you enough for your generous gift of financial assistance. I can now rest easier on the days I am too sick to work or am hospitalized. The peace of mind you have given me and my daughter is priceless and I cannot thank you enough! Many, many thanks!

Hugs, Cathi and Carley

Dear Board of Directors,

I would like to let you know how much I appreciate your help. It took a big stress issue and let me have room to breathe. I plan on paying this forward when I am able. Thank you for your thoughtfulness,

Thank you so much for the gas cards you sent. We appreciate it more than words can express. It brings us great comfort to know that your organization exists.

With gratitude, Larry & Reesa

OCCO, thank you so much for the $1500 gift for my bills, it has really helped us.

Thanks so much for your help, kindness makes a difference in a day and your thoughtfulness certainly made a difference in mine.

Sincerely, Linda

Thank you so much for your kindness and assistance. My diagnosis of Stage 1c Ovarian Cancer was a shock to my husband and I. The assistance with our bills was such a blessing as I was off work for 8 weeks after my second surgery. I can't wait to be working full time again so I can support this wonderful organization.

Let me know if you need anything else. I also am a photographer. Let me know if you ever need a photographer or back up photographer for your events.

When I was told there was no more treatments to be had for my ovarian cancer, my first thoughts were for my family. How I would continue to help support them when I couldn't work anymore; how would I afford the COBRA insurance to cover my prescriptions, doctors visits, etc. I told these thoughts to the hospital social worker and she brought me paperwork for your organization and others for me to fill out if I wish. When I received your letter and contribution to my household, I cried. It helped relieve some of the stress I was feeling about failing my family. Support like your organization gives helps cancer victims focus more on taking care of themselves and not feeling like a burden to their family.

God Bless, Diane
